My skin is thirsty for this one product

My skin situation is pretty complicated.

It’s oily in some spots, dry in others, overall very sensitive and also very red. Annoying I know, but I put up with it. I’ve had skin issues all my life, and over time I’ve gotten good at knowing what causes my skin to freak out and the best way of managing it.

Currently my skin care routine is pretty simple and gets repeated AM and PM: I wash with a gentle cleanser, moisturize with La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid (I highly recommend if you have sensitive skin) and apply The Ordinary’s Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG into my eye contours to reduce dark circles.

Most of the time those three products do the job well, and I can get through the day without any major dryness, redness or other skin disasters. However, there are times where my skin needs a mid-day boost, and that is where Thermal Spring Water spray comes in.

It’s another La Roche-Posay product and can be a real life-saver in skin emergencies. Whether it’s for irritation, redness, dryness or just feeling less gross, this spray is my best friend and my skin drinks it right up. It’s light and perfect for when I’m in a pinch and can’t wash my face.

I know there are definitely other versions of this same product available, but the reason I like getting the La Roche-Posay one specifically is that I can normally get it free when I go to buy my moisturizer. Yep, La Roche-Posay has sets that include the full version of whatever product it is you want (the Tolerian Ultra Fluid in my case) plus smaller versions of other products in the same product range, and they are the exact same price as buying just the single product. These sets are how I discovered the Thermal Spring Water in the first place, and I have literally never had to pay for it. The small bottle lasts a while, and by the time I run out of my moisturizer and go and buy another set I usually still have some spray left so I’ve acquired quite the stock pile of them.

The other good thing about buying the set is that the spray comes in 50 ml bottles, as opposed to the normal 150 ml bottles, making it way better for travelling with. I like taking the 50 ml bottle with me to work and just dousing myself in it to feel more fresh and awake.

So that’s my two cents on this subject. Go out and get yourself some Thermal Spring Water spray, trust me your skin will thank you.
